“Nature and nature,then?”

It comes from a former professor‘s evaluation of my work, then I took it as the title.

Me in the future,2024

A painting can carry metaphors, cultural meanings, social criticism, or just the flow of emotions, the experiment of color or just some spots without concepts. The essence of art is not limited to "conveying meaning". It can also be just "existence" - to make people feel, not to understand. For me, art is a language. People use language to express ideas and emotions, and they can also use language to tell others what they eat in the morning. Art is the same thing. Giving art a layer of indecipherable labels is like asking a person to say anything in the form of poetry.

Creation is free, and the meaning is the audience's - even sometimes, misreading is more vital than the "original intention". I like nature, which is due to the lack of parents' company in my childhood. My violent and restless childhood has made nature my reliance. Since I was 10 years old, I have rescued 14 cats and two birds, so I can't deny that the influence of nature on me is very far-reaching, which also leads to plant elements in many of my works. If it wasn't for proposition creation, everyone would have their preferred elements and use them a lot. I think this is a common thing.

Just do it!
